Dripless Honey Bottling Valve
Our dripless honey valve is truly the "cat's meow" for bottling honey! The speed, accuracy, and smoothness of this valve is unmatched by any other design in the market.
You simply pull down on the handle, and honey comes out. Release the handle, and it stops, immediately! No more drips and wiping honey off the edge of your honey gate.
If you're bottling more than a few gallons of honey per year, this valve will dramatically increase your bottling speed and accuracy compared to a traditional honey gate, or even our previous "Perfection-style" valve.
This valve includes adapters to fit the following tanks:
- All current HillCo honey tanks with the 1.5" female thread (thread actual diameter is about 1-3/8"). This includes the 5 gallon filtering tank, the 9, 18, and 36 gallon unheated tanks, and the 19 gallon and 32 gallon heated tanks.
- 1st generation HillCo 18 gallon heated bottling tanks with 1" male NPT pipe thread, or any other tank with 1" male NPT thread.
2 year warranty!

Attached this to a cone shaped beer fermenting tank that I bought my daughter a few years ago ( that , of course, she never used ). We have used it to bottle honey before with a gate valve and it did not drip bad, but it was annoying. When I saw this valve had a food grade connector, I bought one.
We used it this morning to bottle a 5 gallon bucket of warmed honey. 57 one pound bottles and not the first drip . First time we have ever bottled honey and not had to wipe jars with honey drips from the valve.
Absolutely great product !!
This is so helpful with bottling our honey. The only issue is that is does not remain in one place while bottling at times.
This valve is amazing! Definitely a game changer. No more mess, no more overflow, this valve offers much better control and precision. I was able to bottle much more efficiently now since I didn't lose any time wiping drips off a honey gate or bottles. Just this morning i filled over 120 jars without an issue. Best of all, it's less than a third of the cost of similar valves found elsewhere.
Stop using a honey gate. Buy this valve!
Received this Dripless Valve a week or so ago and installed into a 15 gallon plastic barrel. Decided to fill the barrel with water to check my installation for leaks before using honey. Good thing, My mounting was fine but the bottom and top fittings (gasketed) of the valve dripped water regularly. Tightened these up 1/8 - 1/4 turn, stopped dripping. Then the adapter fitting threaded into the back of the fitting was dripping. Unthreaded it to find moderately damaged threads and minimal thread sealing tape. Removed original tape from threads and applied 6-7 wraps of sealing tape and tightened up. No more leaks and working great. These were minimal issues with water, but if I had dumped 10 gallons of honey into the barrel, it could have been very messy to deal with.
Gave it 3 stars for having to deal with the leaks, also because I had to travel 90 miles round trip to purchase a 3/4" male hex by 1/2" drive socket to remove the adapter fitting.
I highly recommend a beeblanket on the bottling tank! I bottled 12 two puond bottles in under 3 minutes with HillCo's 9 gallon bottling tank, the HillCo Dripless Honey Gate, and a tank heater blanket. The heater blanket makes a big difference here. I haven't tried filling a 2oz bottle yet. Not sure I could shut the flow off quick enough. Bottom Line: I ❤️ my Dripless honey gate!
